We are excited to announce the opening of the 2026 season of Deep Roots Farmers Market on Saturday, May 30, 2026, 9am-1pm - and this year brings a major and exciting change!
By popular demand, the market is moving from Garvies Point to Village Square in the heart of downtown Glen Cove! Our new location offers greater visibility, increased foot traffic, easier accessibility, more parking and an even stronger connection to the local business community. We are thrilled to bring the market experience directly into the center of our vibrant downtown every Saturday 9am-1pm through November 7th!
To celebrate the opening of our 23-week season and our new home, we will host a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Opening Day. We invite the community, local businesses and elected officials to join us as we launch this exciting new chapter for Deep Roots Farmers Market.
We warmly welcome back our returning vendors whose dedication and quality products have helped make the market such a beloved community destination over the years. We also encourage new vendors to become part of our growing market family.
Vendor applications are welcome throughout the season, and we always invite additional food producers, artisans, specialty vendors, local businesses and start-ups to participate. - GlenCoveChamber.org/DeepRoots (Please share with artisans you know. The Glen Cove Market, one of the most popular Long Island Farmers Markets, is located in Garvies Point Park, right on the waterfront! There is a beautiful promenade as well as a dog park, boat ramp and beach! There is plentiful parking at the Ferry Terminal Parking lot, located just on the other side of the Beacon Condo (building in photo). If you are able, park there and take a short 4 minute walk along the promenade to get to the market! There is also on-street parking available as well. Bathrooms are located on the promenade near the dog park and Ferry Terminal as well as at the boat ramp.
A children's playground is located down the road near the roundabout and is also accessible via the promenade.
Garvies Point Brewery and Restaurant and Brendels Bagels are nearby.

~ Deep Roots Farmers Market Glen Cove - 2025 Season ~

Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the Chamber has assumed operation of Deep Roots Farmers Market at Garvies Point in Glen Cove beginning on Saturday, May 31, 2025. In accordance with the wishes of late market founder Amy Peters, the Glen Cove Chamber will run the Saturday morning market as her successor.

The Chamber is committed to preserving the goals and spirit of the market as Amy intended. The market will be now known as Deep Roots Farmers Market-Glen Cove.
​
The 23-week 2025 season will kick off with a grand ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in its familiar location, the parking lot next to the Beacon at 100 Garvies Point Rd. The Market has operated there since June 2021. Everyone is invited & encouraged to participate in the event.
​
The market will be in this location, rain or shine, on Saturdays during the season form 9 am to-1 pm except for Saturday, June 7th when the market will move to Glen Cove Village Square to accommodate the annual Greek Festival. Following that event, the Deep Roots Farmers Market Glen Cove will return to Garvies Point until Saturday, November 1, the last market day for 2025.

Deep Roots Farmers Market-Glen Cove is the place to be on Saturday mornings! Come down with your family and enjoy connecting with the glorious outdoors at the market many vendors have said is their favorite location! Feel the warm air and gentle breezes at our waterfront locale, gaze at Hempstead Harbor, and enjoy live music.
Remember that this is a “Rain or Shine” event!
